About Radhika
Radhika Reddy is the Principal Solicitor, a senior legal practitioner and a celebrated businesswoman – both in Fiji and Australia.
In many ways, Radhika represents the best of what Lautoka has to offer. She was born in Lautoka into the world of business – her grandfather, V. M. Pillay, being one of Fiji’s first immigrant entrepreneurs. She studied at Natabua High School, taught science at Jasper Williams High School, and after thirty years in Australia, returned to Lautoka to set up a high-end legal practice to serve Lautoka City and the greater Western Viti Levu.
Radhika’s career has been quite varied. She has worked for the Australian Government Departments in various legal and policy roles. She spent over a decade with the Australian Federal Police in the Crime Prevention, policy and legal team. Finally, as a lecturer in migration law at the Australian National University before embarking into private practice.
From 2011, Radhika owns and operates Legal on London, a prestigious Canberra based firm with a branch in Sydney. Legal on London is situated in the heart of Canberra City and works with some of Canberra’s most sought out senior Legal Practitioners. Radhika Reddy Law is the Fiji extension of Legal on London.
Radhika’s other business ventures include restaurants and cafes in Canberra.
As a solicitor, Radhika is admitted to the Supreme Court of ACT, the High Court of Australia, and the Fiji High Court. She has argued cases in at the ACT Magistrates Court, The ACT Supreme Court, The Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Family Court of Australia, ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Migration Review Tribunal, in criminal defence, civil liability, migration, family, business and commercial law matter. As a migration solicitor, Radhika is known as the difficult case expert and serves client from all around Australia.
Radhika is the vice president of Australia India Business Council ACT Chapter, a member of the Fiji Australia Business Council, a member of the ACT Law Society, a member of the Office of Migration Agents Regulatory Authority of Australia, and a member of the Migration Institute of Australia.
As the principal of Legal on London, Radhika enjoys to better support and mentor the young solicitors that we rely on to invigorate the profession.
Radhika is a fitness fanatic, loves to cook. She enjoys taking walks around Lautoka, hosting dinners and meeting new people.
Her spare time is consumed with either conceptualising interior décor for homes and businesses or reading biographies of famous people who have changed the course of history.
Qualifications
Radhika qualified with a Bachelor of Science from Bangalore University with first class honours in Chemistry and Biology. She has a Secondary School Teaching Certificate undertaken jointly with James Cook University and the University of the South Pacific.
Radhika has Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor from the University of Canberra. She also has a Graduate Certificate in Migration Law and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
