Uraia Koroi joined the firm with over 3 years of experience. He joined the Fiji Legal Bar in 2016.
He attained his Bachelor of Law Degree in 2015 whilst studying at the University of the South Pacific Emalus Campus situated in Port Vila, Vanuatu and later completed his Professional Diploma in Legal Practice in 2016 at the University of the South Pacific Statham Campus, Suva.
After being admitted, he joined Legal Aid Commission as a volunteer for almost 5 months before being absorbed as a permanent staff in 2016. He began his legal career as a Legal Officer for the Legal Aid Commission based in their Labasa Office in 2017 which looks after Macuata and Bua Province. Later in 2018 he was transferred to Savusavu branch which looks after the Cakaudrove Province. When he moved to their Nausori branch, Uraia resigned and joined Merchant Finance Legal Department in 2019. He then joined our Team to bring a balance of exposure to the area of law that he specializes in.
His areas of expertise are in Criminal Law, Family Law and Civil Law and is passionate to expand his knowledge in other areas of law that our office provides.
He is possessed with excellent Leadership Skills and Litigation Skills and can appear with confidence in Court Trials and Mentions and has achieved exceptional results in court cases and in all forms of legal representation in the Magistrates Courts, Master’s Court and High Court and has a good client care and professional bond with clients.
Outside of the office, Uraia enjoys his family time, visiting new places, trying out new delicacies, swimming, and socializing with people from all works of life.
